DESCRIPTION:<p>QC Recycles events are open to all Town residents —&nbsp;<a href="https://www.queencreekaz.gov/residents/do-i-live-in-qc">click here to find out if you live in Queen Creek.</a><strong>&nbsp;Registration closes Monday, Oct. 7.</strong><br><br></p><h3>Accepted items:</h3><ul>    <li>Appliances&nbsp;(refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, washers and dryers)</li>    <li>Electronics&nbsp;(computers, hard drives, computer keyboards, power cords, monitors, televisions, VCRs, etc.)</li>    <li>Metals&nbsp;(steel, copper, aluminum)</li>    <li>Tires&nbsp;(maximum of four, rims removed, no commercial tires)</li>    <li>Paint&nbsp;(latex or water-based in original containers; containers cannot exceed five gallons; five containers per vehicle)</li>    <li>Paper shredding&nbsp;(up to five boxes per vehicle; please remove folders, binder clips or other metal or plastic objects from paper)</li>    <li>Prescription drugs&nbsp;in partnership with QCPD&nbsp;(safely dispose of unused, unwanted, and expired prescriptions and over the counter medication; however, liquids, needles and inhalers will NOT be accepted)</li>    <li>Textiles and small furniture&nbsp;in partnership with Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (donate gently used clothing, linens, shoes, artwork, books, sporting goods, toys, musical instruments, and small furniture; large furniture, carpets/rugs, mattresses, and construction materials will NOT be accepted)</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>Items not accepted:</h2><ul>    <li>Household hazardous waste (HHW) such as oils, chemicals, and batteries</li>    <li>Air conditioners</li>    <li>Batteries</li>    <li>Mattresses</li>    <li>Construction materials</li>    <li>Items from commercial businesses</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>Please ensure that only items you are disposing of are located in your trunk or truck bed.
