From promoting economic well-being and quality of life by creating, retaining, and expanding jobs that facilitate growth, enhance wealth, and provide a stable tax base, Queen Creek is recognizing the efforts of the Economic Development industry during Economic Development Week, May 11 – 17.
Queen Creek’s Economic Development Specialist, Bridgette Blair, was recently named the prestigious Member of the Year by the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED).

The Member of the Year Award recognizes individuals who have made a significant commitment to AAED such as active involvement on the Board of Directors, committees, the recruitment of new members, regular attendance at events, and organizational/event sponsorship.
Having previously served as Associate Director for 11 years, Bridgette returned as a passionate volunteer, committee leader, and connector of people and ideas. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Awards Banquet Committee and continues to shape the ceremony with her vision, creativity, and commitment to excellence.
Bridgette earned her AZED Pro certification, is working toward her Certified Economic Developer certification, and uplifts others through mentorship.
