The Town of Queen Creek relies on residents to serve in an advisory capacity to staff and Council in a number of areas. The Town is currently seeking residents interested in serving on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC).
PRAC offers assistance and advice in the development and review of goals and objectives for parks, trails and open spaces in Queen Creek, as well as recreational programs and events. PRAC meets at least four times a year; meetings may be held more often, as needed. Meetings are typically held on Tuesdays at 6 p.m.
Committee appointments are made by the Mayor with the approval of the Town Council. Term lengths are two years, with a limit of three terms.
Stay involved in your community by completing an application online to serve on a committee. Applications remain on file for 12 months. Serving on PRAC requires living in the Town of Queen Creek municipal boundaries (visit QueenCreekAZ.gov/DoILiveinQC to confirm your residency).
