The Silver Alert issued for Terry Flickinger on July 4 has been canceled.

Terry, a 73-year-old male, was last seen on July 1 at approximately 10 p.m. in the area of Sossaman Road and Sundance Drive (south of Hunt Highway) in Queen Creek. Terry was reported missing on July 4. Due to his age, history of medical conditions, and the extreme heat, a Silver Alert was issued on Friday, July 4. 

QCPD searched for Terry throughout the weekend and has continued the investigation since the initial report. His body was located on July 8 during a joint search with MCSO Search & Rescue and specialized K-9 units in the desert area south of his property. Preliminary information does not indicate foul play, and QCPD is continuing to investigate.
