As Halloween approaches, the Queen Creek Police Department (QCPD) reminds residents to prioritize safety while celebrating. Whether trick-or-treating, attending events, or hosting a gathering, the following safety tips can help ensure that everyone enjoys a fun, fright-free, and safe Halloween.
Costumes:

Make sure costumes do not obstruct children's vision.

Avoid long or baggy costumes.

Bright colors and adding reflective tape are recommended.
Halloween Night:

A parent or adult should accompany young children.

Travel in groups.
-
Never enter a stranger's home.

Slow down, watch for kids at intersections and on curbs.

Always be aware of your surroundings.
Driving:

Wear a seat belt at all times.

Avoid distractions in the car and slow down.

Designate a sober driver.

QCPD will enforce all laws related to alcohol, illegal drugs, and impaired driving.
Hosting a party:

Monitor party activities.

Ensure everyone has a safe way to get home.

Do not facilitate or contribute to parties with illegal activity, including underage drinking, excessive noise, or other violations consistent with unruly gatherings.
Town curfew for juveniles:
Please call the QCPD non-emergency line at 480-358-3500 (9-1-1 in an emergency) to report suspicious behavior, criminal activity, or unruly gatherings.
