Residents Report Overall Satisfaction with Queen Creek in 2025 Citizen Survey

Post Date:01/16/2026 10:00 am
Results from the recent Queen Creek citizen survey indicate that residents in Queen Creek are pleased with the community, with 89% reporting that QC is a good or excellent place to live, and 88% rating the quality of life as excellent or good.

The Town conducts a citizen survey every 18-24 months to gauge resident input and help prioritize upcoming projects. The survey is anonymous, and participants are selected at random, which provides residents an opportunity to share honest feedback about their Town. Summit Survey Research administered the survey on behalf of the Town last fall, surveying 699 residents about Town services, programs, customer service and communication.

“I truly look forward to our citizen survey and love that when we ask for feedback, that’s what we get, and that’s exactly why we do this,” stated Queen Creek Mayor Julia Wheatley. “I love to see our residents feel safe here. As a Council, we’ve invested a lot in public safety and parks and recreation, and that’s definitely reflected in the results. We’ve also invested a lot in transportation - it continues to be a top priority, which is reflected in our annual budget, and we know we’re not done. And I just love to see how many people plan to live here in the next five years. It takes everyone working together for the best end product and I continue to be excited for this community and our future.”

The most desired change to benefit the Town remained road improvements. The Town continues to invest in transportation with ongoing progress of the 10-year Capital Improvement Plan. Over the last decade, the Town Council has invested more than $200 million in improving Queen Creek roadways and transportation, and nearly all of the major projects outlined in the Town's 2016 Transportation Master Plan are complete or in progress (widening Ellsworth to six lanes all through Queen Creek, widening Rittenhouse Road to four lanes all through Queen, extending Meridian to the State Route 24, extending Riggs, and more).

In November 2025, the Queen Creek Town Council approved the 2025 Transportation Master Plan, a 25-year roadmap for planning, building, and managing the Town’s transportation network. The plan incorporates the few unfinished projects from the 2016 Transportation Master Plan and integrates new priorities to guide future transportation investments and improvements. While residents want additional road improvements, they intend to stay in Queen Creek; 76% plan to live in Queen Creek in five years and 94% would recommend Queen Creek as a place to live.
Consistent with previous citizen surveys, residents consider their neighborhood as a great place to live (90% good or excellent) and Queen Creek a great place to raise a family (91% good or excellent).
