April is Earth Month in Queen Creek

Celebrate Earth Day every day this April! On Wednesday, April 1, the Queen Creek Town Council proclaimed April as Earth Month. View the Earth Day page on the Town's website for ways to celebrate all month long!


Box car movie

Free Outdoor Movie

Make a box car out of cardboard and other recyclable materials, then bring it (or a chair or blanket) to a free outdoor movie on Friday, April 10! Join us at Mansel Carter Oasis Park for a showing of How to Drain Your Dragon, complete with free popcorn, water, and giveaways. Register for the movie on the Town's website.

Free Landscaping Workshops

The Town will host two free landscaping workshops in April! Learn about Pruning & Maintaining Your Landscape on Saturday, April 4, and get inspired for your backyard makeover (or first-time landscaping) on Saturday, April 18. Learn more and register for the water-smart workshops


QC Recycles Event

 

Free Drive-Through Recycling Event

Register by April 13 to get a Fast Pass for this month’s QC Recycles drive-through event on Saturday, April 18! Queen Creek residents can bring paper to shred, paint, appliances, batteries, and more to donate, recycle, and dispose of properly. Learn more and register for the free recycling event


 

Art contest

 

Water Conservation Youth Art Exhibit

Throughout April, water conservation art contest submissions will be displayed in the Queen Creek Library lobby. Learn more about water conservation.
