America 250 celebrates the country's 250th anniversary on July 4, 2026.

We'll be celebrating all year long in Queen Creek and there are ways for you to participate!

 On Sunday, July 5, you are invited to America's Potluck.

America's Potluck is your opportunity to connect with your neighbors through a communal meal. Get your neighborhood signed up today!

Hosting a QC Potluck 

Gather your neighbors, friends and community groups and celebrate America250!
On Sunday, July 5, join individuals from across the country to share food, build connections, and celebrate what makes us QC Neighborly.  Whether you host a gathering, attend a neighborhood potluck, or bring a favorite dish to share, everyone is invited to take part in this day of fellowship and celebration.

If you or your organization plan to host a gathering, please fill out the form by June 18 to receive a Patriotic Potluck Party Pack!*

 

If potlucks include event elements, a special event application will be required. Please see the guidelines below: 
  • Impact or disrupt traffic flow
  • Requires a state-issued liquor license A.R.S. § 4-207.03 (Temporary Extension of Premises) or A.R.S. § 4-203.02 (Special event license)
  • Deviates from the permitted use, zoning or the appropriate International Building Code (IBC)
  • Substantial deviation from the current land use designation or legal nonconforming use
  • Requires a level of public safety personnel or resources
  • Use of fireworks, pyrotechnics or other fire features
  • Use of amplified sound (designed for commercial use for large gatherings, concerts, outside event spaces, etc.)

*Celebration must take place within Queen Creek Town limits to be eligible to receive a party pack. The host of the celebration must also reside within Queen Creek Town limits to be eligible to receive a party pack. Celebration must take place on July 5.
