QC Neighborly is an initiative to encourage residents of Queen Creek to interact with their neighbors to help our community maintain its small-town feel. 

We encourage residents to slow down, connect with their neighbors and embrace Queen Creek's hometown atmosphere.

Queen Creek is full of everyday heroes, tell us what you are doing in your neighborhood. Small acts of kindness make a big impact!

Every year in September, we celebrate QC Neighborly Week as part of Founders' Month. Whether it's coordinating a neighborhood donation drive, organizing meals and support for a family or individual in need or beautifying the streets with a clean-up effort, there are countless ways to be QC Neighborly!

One neighborhood will be selected to receive the QC Neighborly Award to recognize their efforts to be QC Neighborly. Neighborhoods that submit entries to the award program and meet the eligibility requirements will be shared on Nextdoor for resident consideration.

Timeline:

• Submit your entry today! Submissions received now through Sept. 8, 2025 will be considered for the 2025 QC Neighborly Award. 

• Sept. 8, 2025- Deadline to submit entries for the QC Neighborly Award

• Sept. 9-16, 2025– Vote for your favorite entry on Nextdoor. Voting will depend on the number of entries received. **Update** voting is LIVE through Tuesday, Sept. 16 by 6 p.m.

• Sept. 22, 2025– Winning QC Neighborly award will be announced across all social platforms. The winning neighborhood is offered a free spot in the QC Hometown Christmas Parade. *Parade submission includes terms and conditions listed below.

• Oct. 1, 2025- QC Neighborly Award is highlighted at the Council meeting with the winners invited to accept the award
