About The Program

Under the direction of Mayor Julia Wheatley, the Town of Queen Creek started its first Mayor's Teen Advisory Committee in fall 2024.

To participate, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be between 14 and 18 years of age and/or in grades 9-12
  • Be a Queen Creek resident
  • Submit an application of interest
  • Agree to participate in a variety of activities, including monthly group meetings

This program was developed to provide teens with a voice - participating students will not only meet and discuss current issues facing Queen Creek teens, but will work together with our Queen Creek Town Council and community to develop solutions and create engagement among the youth in our Town.
