How to Set up Your Account

• On desktop computers, select Log In/Create Account in the upper left corner then select Create Your Account.
• On mobile devices, select Account in the upper right corner and then select Sign Up.
• Fill in the form as completely as possible. All of the fields with an asterisk (*) are mandatory and your account cannot be created without completing these sections. You also need to add one emergency contact to your account. You’ll have an opportunity to add family members to your household later. Please avoid using autofill when setting up your account, as this can lead to information being entered incorrectly and cause issues when registering for classes. Do not use the auto-fill function on your device when creating your account, as this can cause the information to populate incorrectly, and may prevent log-in access.
• To receive text alerts about class cancellations and facility closures, indicate your mobile carrier next to your cell number.
• Add additional household members (spouse, children, etc.) at any time in your account settings. Please keep your entire household on one account.

Registrations are accepted at the Queen Creek Library Recreation Annex and the Queen Creek Recreation & Aquatic Center. 

Mail

The Queen Creek Recreation Services Division accepts registration by postal mail; however, the Town is not responsible for postal delays. Mail to: Queen Creek Recreation Services, 22350 S. Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142. 

Full payment must be received with completed registration form. Faxed registration forms are not accepted. Applications will not be accepted by telephone.

For late registrations, applicants will be placed on a waiting list and will only be placed in a program if space is available.

Enrollment Policy

• All registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Early registration is encouraged; so we can notify you of any changes in program or; if you require special accommodations.
• Every class has a minimum and maximum enrollment to ensure a quality experience. If a class you registered for is full, you will be contacted to discuss alternate classes.
• If a class is full, participants may elect to have their name placed on a waiting list.
• On occasion, classes and programs may be canceled due to insufficient enrollment.

• Recreation program registration fees are based on Town of Queen Creek residency.

Weather Related Cancellation

The Aquatic Center is subject to closure due to weather-related incidents like electrical storms, severe wind, dust storms, poor air quality, strong winds, or heavy rain. If lightning is seen or the Perry Weather Lightning Detection and Warning System goes off, the Aquatics Division will close the pool area for 30 minutes. The pool will reopen when lightning moves out of the 10-mile radius for 30 minutes. In the event of a closure, no refunds will be offered. If in doubt, call 480-358-3700 before you leave home or check the Aquatic Center Weather Map at the bottom of Aquatic Center website.

Unexpected Facility Maintenance or Contamination of Aquatic Center Cancellation

The Town reserves the right to close the Aquatic Center or a specific body of water due to unforeseen maintenance issues like mechanical difficulties or pool maintenance related to contamination that must be addressed before patrons can safely use the pool facility.

In the event of contamination, such as solid fecal matter or vomit, the pool must close for 30 minutes to be cleaned; patrons must clear the pool area during cleaning. Aquatic facility staff will follow all required safety guidelines before letting patrons back into the pool area. In the event of diarrhea contamination, the pool must be cleared of patrons immediately, and a closure of at least 24 hours is required. In the event of a closure, no refunds will be offered. If in doubt, call (480) 358-3700 before you leave home.

Town Initiated Cancellation

The Town reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. If a class or program is canceled, you will be notified and offered an alternative choice, if available. If no alternative is available, a full refund will be issued via the original payment method if still valid. The Town reserves the right to cancel, postpone, divide or combine classes, change rooms or locations, change instructors, or any other revisions that become necessary.

Participant Initiated Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your activity, class, program, league, or rental, you must call 480-358-3700, visit either the Recreation Annex or the Queen Creek Recreation and Aquatic Center, or submit your request in writing via email within the timeframes listed below. All membership cancellation requests need to be submitted in writing. Activities, classes, programs, leagues, rentals, and memberships are non-transferable.

1. Registered Program: Cancelations to registered programs should be made as soon as you know you will be unable to attend.

• Activities, Classes, and Programs: Participants can request a full refund at least 24 hours prior to the start date of the program. Refunds requested after class start date must be submitted in writing and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
• Leagues: Participants can request a full refund at least 5-business days prior to the registration deadline for the league. Refunds requested after the league registration deadline must be submitted in writing and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

2. Facility Rental: Cancellations to reservations need to be made at least 5-business days prior to the reservation date to receive a refund.

3. Membership: A 10-business day written notice is required to cancel your membership. You will continue to have access to the facility through the end of the month, based on your Membership Term Start Date. If you have remaining months on your membership, you may be eligible for a prorated refund. Refunds are calculated based on the monthly fee (total membership cost divided by the number of months in the membership term), and the refund will equal the total amount paid minus the cost of all full months used. Please note that partial months are not refundable.

• 1-month membership will not receive a prorated refund.
  • If you do not wish to renew, a notice of cancellation must be made in writing and must be received at least 10-business days prior to the EFT draft date (1st of each month).
• 3-month and annual memberships may be eligible for a prorated refund if you have any full months remaining on your membership.
  • To cancel your membership, you must complete and submit the Queen Creek Recreation & Aquatic Center Membership Cancellation Form. A 10-business day written notice is required to evaluate any potential refund of remaining months on your membership.
  • These memberships do not auto-renew and will expire at the end of their term requiring no notice of cancellation.
  • Memberships are non-transferable. If you need to add or remove a member, you will need to cancel your current membership and purchase a new one.

4. Day Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.

Refund Guidelines 

• Refunds are not issued for no shows.

• Refund requests must be submitted in writing and may be subject to a prorated refund based on usage and administrative fees.

• Approved refunds are issued via the original payment method if still valid. If your payment is made with cash, a check, or the original payment method is no longer valid, the approved refund will be issued to you as a check via our Finance Department and mailed to you. Please allow up to four to six weeks from the date that you submit the request for a refund to be processed.

• The Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis and partial or full refunds may or may not be approved at any time at the discretion of the department.

• Processing fees may apply to all refund transactions.

• Policy Amendments: The Town Manager or their designee reserves the right to amend this policy at any time to better serve the community's needs. Notice of any changes will be provided in advance to program participants.
