Come spend some time with your furry friends at the Town's lighted dog park! The off-leash park consists of four separate grass-play areas, shaded areas, enclosed fencing and a drinking fountains.
The south small and large sections of the Founders' Park Dog Park will be closed for reseeding from Wednesday, July 15, through Wednesday, July 29. During this time, the north small and large dog park sections will remain open for use. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the park!
Dog Park Rules
- Dog handlers must carry a leash for each of their dogs using the dog park.
- Dogs must be leashed during entrance and exit.
- Handlers must clean up after their dogs.
- Limit of three (3) dogs per visit.
- Dogs must be under voice control and the handler must be within the enclosure at all times.
- Any dog displaying aggressive behavior must be leashed and removed immediately.
- Dogs must be licensed, vaccinated and wear a visible and current license.
- Dog using the park must be older than four (4) months.
- Spayed or neutered dogs recommended.
- Dog treats and food are not allowed in the park.
- No smoking in the dog park.
- Female dogs in heat are not allowed in the dog park.
- Handlers are responsible to cover holes or turf damage caused by dogs immediately.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- The facility was created for dogs and their handlers. It is not a playground for children.
- Keep small children and infants under strict supervision and do not allow them to run in the area or chase after dogs.
- Park users and handlers assume all risk related to the dog park.
- The dog agility equipment, if present, is for dog use only. Do not play or let children play on it.
- The facility is open to dog handlers and dogs complying with the parks posted regulations. Those not following park rules will be asked to leave by Town Official.

The Town of Queen Creek, its officers, employees and agents shall not be responsible for any accident, injury and/or loss of property or damage resulting from use of the dog park by any individual, group or organization.
When visiting Queen Creek's parks, please adhere to all Park Regulations.
Motorized Devices
Effective May 21, 2026, Town Code, that was adopted through Ordinance 890-26, outlines new updates related to the use of motorized devices, including prohibited use in parks, hands-free device use, speed limits, and impound guidelines. These changes are intended to reduce dangerous situations and enhance the safety of riders and the community in parks, trails and other public spaces.
Motorized devices include electric bicycles, electric miniature scooters, motorized gas-powered bicycles, motorized play vehicles, motorized skateboards, and micromobility devices. It does not include devices used for accessibility, including but not limited to a motorized wheelchair. For a comprehensive definition, visit 11-1-1 of the Town code.
Devices must continue to be operated in a reasonable and safe manner, obey all traffic laws, and yield to pedestrians and equestrians. The approved ordinance establishes new operational restrictions for the use of these devices throughout Town owned property and public spaces.
