The Queen Creek Police Department's Youth Academy is a free, two-week summer program designed to introduce teens to the exciting and challenging world of law enforcement. Open to incoming 8th through 12th graders who live in Queen Creek town limits (Not sure if you live within the Town’s municipal boundaries Visit QueenCreekAZ.gov/DoILiveinQC). The academy offers hands-on experiences led by dedicated officers and specialized units.

Participants will learn directly from patrol officers, traffic division, criminal investigations, K-9 handlers, evidence technicians, and members of the Special Assignment Unit (SAU). Through demonstrations, interactive scenarios, and team-building activities, students will gain valuable insight into policing while developing skills in leadership, communication, and personal responsibility.

Our mission is to strengthen the relationship between local youth and law enforcement by creating a supportive, engaging environment where trust, respect, and understanding can grow.
