The Town Clerk serves as the Town's Election Officer. Through an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Maricopa County and Pinal County Election Departments, the Town of Queen Creek administers local elections in the fall of even-numbered years.

  • Primary Election held on the second-to-last Tuesday in July1
  • General Election is held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November

The Town Council is a seven (7) member, non-partisan body elected to serve at large, representing the residents of  Queen Creek. The Mayor and Council serve four-year terms and there are no term limits.

The next election will be held on July 21, 2026 for the Mayor and three (3) Council Member seats.

1Governor Katie Hobbs signed emergency legislation (HB2022, elections; July primary; curing; observers) into law, moving the Primary Election and all its corresponding deadlines up by two weeks.
