• How will I know if my early ballot was received and counted?

  Voters on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) or have a one-time request for a ballot-by-mail/Early ballot, can check the date a ballot was sent, returned and received by the County Recorder, and whether the ballot was accepted and signature verified by visiting the Arizona Voter Information Portal.

  In addition, the Arizona Secretary of State's Office is proud to introduce text message and email alerts as part of your ballot-by-mail/Early Ballot tracking service. To sign up, visit trackmyballot.azsos.gov.

  Maricopa County Residents can also receive notifications when their ballot is prepared, mailed, received, verified and counted by texting "JOIN" to 625-683 or by visiting their voter dashboard online at BeBallotReady.Vote.

• How do I request ADA Voter Assistance?

  All polling locations and vote centers will provide handicap parking and be able to accommodate individuals in wheelchairs, as well as, individuals with visual or hearing impairments.

  Curbside voting is available to voters that are unable to enter the polling location or voting center and may ask that a ballot be brought to them by an election poll worker.

  The Maricopa County Recorder's Office and Maricopa Elections Department, strive to build equal access to the electoral process for all citizens. The voter assistance services support members of the community who are disabled or have health considerations by providing full and equal opportunities to vote.   Pinal County voters requiring assistance or with disabilities may:

  1. Request an early ballot be mailed to them.
  2. Have their name placed on the active early voting list (AEVL).
  3. Vote at one of these early voting sites: Express Vote units are available at all Early Voting Sites.
  4. Vote at their precinct poll site. Express Vote units are available at all polling locations on Election Day.
  5. Request or bring assistance from either a family member, friend, or two poll workers at your poll site.
  6. Curbside Voting for those who are unable to enter their polling location.
  7. If in the hospital or bedridden, request emergency Voting through Voter Registration at 520-509-3555.
  8. To request an accommodation in voting at the polling site, contact the Election Marshal at the site or contact the Elections Department at 520-866-7550.

• What ID do I need to vote in Arizona?

   Acceptable forms of identification include the following:

  TYPE I (Photo ID)	This type of identification must be unexpired and valid. It must contain your photograph, your name and your current address. Your name and address must reasonably match the information on the poll roster. Valid Arizona driver's license Valid Arizona non-operating identification card Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification Valid United States federal, state, or local government-issued identification
  TYPE II (Non-Photo ID)	You must present two (2) different forms of identification from the list below. Each piece of identification must contain your name and your address and this information must reasonably match the information on the poll roster. Utility bill of the elector that is dated within 90-days of the date of the election. A utility bill may be for electric, gas, water, solid waste, sewer, telephone, cellular phone, or cable television Bank or credit union statement that is dated within 90-days of the date of the election Valid Arizona Vehicle Registration Indian census card Property tax statement of the elector's residence Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification Arizona vehicle insurance card Recorder's Certificate Valid United States federal, state, or local government-issued identification, including a voter registration card issued by the County Recorder Any mailing to the elector marked "Official Election Material"
  TYPE III (Combination)	If you have a form of photographic identification that is listed under Type I above, but the address does not match the poll roster, you may combine that information with one (1) of the valid forms of identification listed under Type II. Valid military identification or a United States passport may also be combined with one (1) of the forms of identification listed under Type II. Please note that the identification must be valid for all three (3) types of identification. If the identification shows on its face that is has expired, then it is not a valid form of identification.

   

  Note: Pinal County Residents must vote at their designated polling location.

   

• Can I vote in person if I already requested or received a ballot in the mail?

  Yes, if you received your ballot by mail, you can still choose to vote in person if you have not already voted by mail. Our check-in system will cancel your mailed ballot if you vote in-person. It also knows if voters have already cast a ballot by mail or in person. In person voting locations are open starting 27 days before an election.

• What's on my ballot?

  Maricopa County residents can access their dashboard to find their personalized election information by visiting BeBallotREADY.Vote. Voters who are a Protected Person or a member of the Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) cannot access the dashboard and should call  602-506-1511.

  Pinal County residents can view their respective 2026 Primary Election Sample Ballot online at https://www.pinal.gov/1847/2026-Primary-Election-Sample-Ballots

• Who is eligible to vote?

  You must be registered 29 days prior to an election to be eligible to vote in that election. State law requires Arizona residents meet the following criteria to register: 

  • A citizen of the United States of America. This includes any U.S. citizen who has never resided in the United States but whose parent is a United States citizen registered to vote in Arizona (A.R.S. § 16-103).
  • 18-years old on or before the date of the next general election.
  • A resident of Arizona for 29 days preceding the election.
  • Not convicted of a felony or treason, unless civil rights have been restored.
  • Able to write his or her name or make his or her mark, unless physically disabled.
  • Not adjudicated an incapacitated person (A.R.S. § 14-5101).

• Where can I vote?

  Maricopa County Elections utilizes a vote center model, which allows eligible voters to visit any vote center within Maricopa and cast their ballot. Vote Centers will begin to open for voters on June 24 and Maricopa County Elections will use a phased approach to open 237 Vote Centers by Election Day. The phased opening approach increases reliability of in-person voting operations, and significantly expands a voter’s access to participate in the Primary Election.   Pinal County Elections utilizes a precinct-based voting model. To find your polling location, please visit the Arizona Voter Information Portal provided by the Arizona Secretary of State.

• Will there be a drop-box at the Town of Queen Creek Offices or Community Chambers?

  No, the Town of Queen Creek Offices will not have a drop box available this election cycle.

  The Communiversity at 21740 S Ellsworth Rd in Queen Creek will serve as a voting center and will have a drop box available beginning Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 9 a.m. Facility hours are accurate, but are subject to change. Please check Locations.Maricopa.Vote for location details, hours of operation, and wait times.

  Maricopa County voters can find a drop box at any of the vote centers available. Locations can be found on the Maricopa County Elections website.

  Pinal County provides early in-person voting services and a drop box for ballot drop-off at the following locations Mon-Fri 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Election Day: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
