A Special Event Liquor License (Series 15) is a non-transferable, liquor license with retail privileges that allows a political, government entity, or non-profit entity to sell and serve spirituous liquor for consumption on the premises where the spirituous liquor is sold, and only for the period authorized on the license. Off-sale privileges apply only to special events holding auctions/wine or distilled spirit pull.

A completed Special Event Application (Series 15) must be filed in-person, by mail or by e-mail to the Town Clerk's Office for approval or disapproval. If held at a licensed premises, no local governing body approval is required. Plan on a minimum 60 days for this process. 

• Please answer each question completely and provide as much detail as possible.
• Include all applicable attachments and documentation with submission. An incomplete application will delay the process and may result in the denial of a license.

Various Town departments will review the application. Upon review from the various departments, the Town Clerk will provide a recommendation of approval or disapproval back to the applicant. If approved, the applicant will then file the complete application and payment ($25 per day of event) with the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for their approval.

Qualifying organizations will be granted a special event license for no more than 10 days in a calendar year. Events must be held on consecutive days and at the same location or additional licenses will be required.

Applications must be received by the Department of Liquor 10 days prior to the event.

A Fair/Festival license allows a licensed farm winery or craft distillery to serve products they produce at a festival, sanctioned county or state fair or within the premises of a licensed special event.

Liquor produced under the provisions of the farm winery or craft distillery license may be served for consumption on the fair/festival premises or "to-go" in the original, sealed container.

Fairs/Festivals do not require approval from local governing bodies if fully within an already licensed premise pursuant to Title IV. Craft Distiller Festivals/Fairs does not require approval by the local governing body if within a premises that is already licensed pursuant to Title IV.

The fair license is subject to the permission of the fair organizers.

There is an application fee of $15 per day, payable to the AZ Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.

Please allow a minimum of 30 days for review and processing by the Town. Applications must be received by the Department of Liquor 10 days prior to the event.

An Extension of Premises is an extension of the existing area occupied by a current licensee and can be either permanent or temporary. Please allow 60 days for processing.

The applicant must complete and submit a completed application to the Town Clerk's Office:

Various Town departments will review the application. Upon approval by the Town, the application must be filed with the AZ Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for their approval, along with a non-refundable fee of $100.

Queen Creek Supplemental Liquor Application

• The annual fee is $200; prorated on a monthly basis for the first year.
• The license term is a calendar year (January 1 - December 1); renewal notices are distributed in December.
