Arizona law (A.R.S. § 9-499.15), requires that government entities provide written notice on their website homepage of the proposed new or increased taxes or fees. When the Town of Queen Creek has such a change to report, it will be posted to this page 60 days prior to Council voting on such changes.

Notice of Intention to increase wastewater rates or rate components, fees or service charges.

PURSUANT TO A.R.S. §§ 9-499.15 and 9-511.01, the Common Council (the “Town Council”) of the Town of Queen Creek (the “Town”) hereby gives notice of its intent to increase wastewater rates or rate components, fees or service charges.

DTA, the Town’s consultant, has prepared, on behalf of the Town, a written report providing a schedule of the proposed increased wastewater capacity fees and the analysis supporting the proposed increases (including cash flow projections) entitled “Draft Wastewater Capacity Fee Study, Town of Queen Creek” dated September 18, 2025 (the “Report”).  The Report has been and made available to the public by filing a copy in the office of the Town Clerk, at 22358 S. Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, Arizona, where it is available for public review during normal business hours, and by posting the Report on the home page of the Town’s website at https://www.queencreekaz.gov/government/town-clerk/public-notice-of-new-or-
increased-fees-or-taxes
at least 60 days prior to the public hearing described below.

The Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed new or increased fees at its regularly scheduled meeting on December 3, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Chambers, at 20727 E. Civic Parkway, Queen Creek, Arizona.

Not less than 20 days prior to the public hearing date set forth above, a copy of this Notice of Intention showing the date, time and place of such hearing shall be (i) published one time in a newspaper of general circulation within the boundaries of the Town, (ii) posted on the front page of the Town’s website, and (iii) distributed through the Town’s social media accounts or other electronic communication tools. 

IF APPROVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL, THE INCREASED WASTEWATER CAPACITY FEES WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE 30 DAYS AFTER SUCH APPROVAL.
