A recap of what your Town Council has been up to during the month of February. 

At the Feb. 4 Town Council Meeting, Mayor Wheatley, Vice Mayor McClure and Council Members Benning, Brown, Martineau and Padilla recognized the Queen Creek Police Department School Resource Officers.

On Feb. 7, the Town held a fire engine push ceremony at Queen Creek Fire Station 3. Mayor Wheatley and Council Members Benning and Brown attended.

Council Member Brown presented the Town's Black History Month Proclamation at the Black Heritage Connection's Black History Month Celebration held at Desert Mountain Park on Feb. 7.

At the Feb. 18 Town Council Meeting, the Town Council recognized QCFMD firefighter Aadam Yates, who was nominated by the Queen Creek American Legion Post 129 as firefighter of the year.

The Council also recognized Crown Castle for their donation to the Mayor's Teen Advisory Committee.

Mayor Wheatley participated on a legislative panel at the ULI Trends Day on Feb. 20.

The Town held its annual Public Safety Day on Feb. 20. Mayor Wheatley, Vice Mayor McClure and Council Members Oliphant and Padilla were in attendance.

Several members of the Queen Creek Town Council attended the GFiber Neighborhood Bash at Frontier Family park on Feb. 21, including Vice Mayor McClure. 

The Queen Creek State of the Town was hosted by the Queen Creek Town Council on Feb. 24. at the Queen Creek Recreation Center.
