He has also served on the Economic Development Commission, Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee, and Valley Metro Board of Directors.

Vice Mayor McClure grew up on Barney Farms in Queen Creek. He became an Eagle Scout and later served as a Scoutmaster. In addition to working on the family farm and at his father’s veterinarian practice, he taught swim lessons and worked as a lifeguard for the City of Chandler. After graduating Valedictorian from Queen Creek High School, he served a two-year Spanish speaking mission in Nashville, Tennessee. Vice Mayor McClure graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University and was an Airport Planner for the City of Phoenix before working for himself.

He and his wife, Michelle, have five children and own an investment advisory business. They love serving with the youth and community outreach at church and are active in the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce where Vice Mayor McClure previously served as an Ambassador and Board Chair. One of his favorite accomplishments of the Town Council has been establishing Constitution Week in Queen Creek. Vice Mayor McClure also enjoys traveling with the family and hiking or paddle boarding with friends.
