Shea Joachim   

Assistant Town Manager

Shea Joachim is the Assistant Town Manager for Queen Creek, Arizona, a position he assumed June 5, 2023. Prior to joining the Town of Queen Creek, Joachim worked as the Business and Economic Development Director for the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority (PMGAA) since 2016, where he was primarily responsible for driving growth. During his tenure with PMGAA, Joachim secured master development agreements for nearly 700 acres of aeronautical and non-aeronautical land and recruited new tenants including Gulfstream, Virgin Galactic and Boeing. Prior to his role at PMGAA, he worked for the City of Mesa for almost ten years on a variety of special projects. 

Shea has a Master of Business degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College and is a member of numerous professional associations including the International City/County Management Association, Urban Land Institute, and International Economic Development Council.
