You can recycle the following items in your curbside recycling cart:

• Plastics (including bottles, jugs, jars, trays, containers, and cartons)
• Cartons
• Paper
• Aluminum and metal cans
• Glass
• Corrugated cardboard

Plastic bags cannot be placed in your recycle cart. They can be caught in the recycling sorting machinery and cause severe, costly damage. Select stores accept plastic bags for recycling; otherwise, they belong in the trash.

The QC Recycling Center has moved!

Conveniently located at 22179 E Ryan Rd, (with access off of Ryan Rd near Frontier Family Park), the QC Recycling Center is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. 

✅ Before you go, please check the Town's X account for any temporary closures or service updates.

Important information:

• Please remember to break down all your boxes and remove any packaging materials (styrofoam, packing peanuts, plastic bags) as they are not recyclable. 
• Do not bag recyclables, toss recyclables directly into the container. 
• For the safety of staff and residents, items cannot be left outside the bins. Please find an open bin and place recyclables directly into the bin.
• The center accepts all recyclables that can be placed in your curbside recycling cart.
• Glass bottles and jars should be placed in the glass-only recycling container.
• Cooking oil and grease can be recycled in the Cooking Oil Recycling Program collection container at the center.

The Town provides this service to all Town of Queen Creek residents including those who live in multi-family communities. Recycling right helps the entire community! This site is available to anyone who wishes to use it, including those who have not yet begun service.

Residential recycled materials are picked up from your recycling cart and brought to the Waste Connections of Arizona Materials Recovery Facility in Apache Junction. Watch this video to get a glimpse of your recyclables traveling through the recycling facility.
