The Town offers free monthly bulk trash collection for Queen Creek residents. To schedule bulk:

• Residents must have a current and active Town trash and recycling services account. 
• Bulk pick-up must be scheduled by noon on the business day prior to your pick up
• Schedule your pickup date through the Collection tab of the widget
  
  Please follow these steps:
  
  1. Enter your address into the schedule widget.
  2. Go to the Collection tab.
  3. Select the items you would like picked up.
  4. Select your preferred pickup date and schedule.

• Large appliances such as microwaves, washers and dryers (excluding refrigerators and freezers)
• Lawnmowers (fuel and oil must be removed before placing curbside)
• Furniture (tables, chairs, couches, mattresses, and box springs)
• Household garbage (including items that don't easily fit into the trash cart)
• Cardboard (must be broken down)
• Yard debris (including debris that don't easily fit into the trash cart; yard debris must be bagged, bundled, or tied)
• Small and large area rugs (a maximum of eight feet in length; excludes carpet flooring and padding)

• Carpet (residents may self-haul carpet to the transfer station)
• Refrigerators and freezers
• Horse manure
• Car parts
• Hazardous materials (including tires, paint, batteries, motor oil)
• Construction materials (including concrete, dirt, rock, gravel, drywall, pavers, wood and brick)

1. After scheduling a bulk pickup, review the details by checking your email for a confirmation message. 
2. To avoid disruption in service, bulk trash MUST be curbside by 6 a.m. on your scheduled pickup day. Collection may take up to 48 hours.
3. Ensure your materials for bulk do not exceed six cubic yards.
4. All items placed curbside, including containers and cans, will be taken during the curbside collection.

All items left curbside on your scheduled bulk pickup date (not to exceed six cubic yards) will be collected. The Town and its partners are not responsible for personal items collected that were left curbside, even if they were not intended for pickup.

Remember the 3Bs — Bagged, Bundled and Boxed! 

When preparing yard debris for bulk collection, please note the following:

• Grass, leaves, and other small items must be bagged or boxed and not exceed 50 pounds per bag.
• Tree logs, limbs, and cuttings cannot be longer than four feet or wider than one foot in diameter and are required to be bundled and securely tied with twine, string, duct tape or similar.
• Palm fronds are required to be bundled and securely tied with twine, string, duct tape or similar and not exceed 50 pounds per bundle.
• Century plants, all cacti and similar plants that are hazardous to collection employees should be contained in boxes.

 **IMPORTANT** Items that are not securely tied with twine, string, duct tape or similar, that cause spills onto the roadway or sidewalk will NOT be picked up.

The Town offers four recycling drop-off events each year, where electronics and various other items can be recycled.

Trash and recycling customers can haul additional household trash to the Apache Junction transfer station for a reduced rate.

In the event that your items are not serviced, please leave them curbside and allow 48 hours before completing an online missed pick-up request.

There may be times that we experience a higher demand for bulk collection requests with a heavier volume in materials.

Please allow up to two business days to complete this online request. Requests are processed during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
